Roadside to Recovery was a dedicated event held in observance of the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims. Organized by the Georgian Students' Association for Traumatology and Orthopaedics (GSAOT), the event aimed to raise awareness about road safety, emergency response, and trauma care while fostering discussions among medical professionals and students on their role in preventing and managing road traffic injuries.

Key Highlights of the Event:

  • Engaging Panel Discussions – Experts in emergency medicine, trauma care, and orthopedics shared their insights on handling road traffic injuries, discussing real-world scenarios, challenges, and best practices in patient care.

  • Interactive Workshops – Attendees participated in hands-on case studies, analyzing clinical recovery processes and learning about rehabilitation for accident victims.

  • Road Safety Awareness & Kahoot Quiz – A session dedicated to traffic sign awareness, followed by a fun and educational quiz, reinforced the importance of understanding and adhering to road safety rules.

  • Special Guest Speakers – Esteemed professionals specializing in trauma and orthopedics joined the discussions, offering their expertise on emergency response, injury management, and long-term recovery strategies.

Impact & Vision:

This webinar served as an important platform for medical students and professionals to reflect on their role in trauma care and road safety advocacy.
