Fracture Fix was a dynamic workshop designed to deepen understanding of fractures, from causes and classifications to diagnosis, treatment, and recovery. The event combined academic excellence with hands-on learning for an unforgettable educational experience.

Event Highlights:

Insightful Lectures: Dr. Tinatin Kandelaki, a renowned radiologist, delivered an engaging lecture on fracture diagnostics, types, and X-ray interpretation. By the end of her session, attendees had sharpened their skills in spotting various fractures on radiographic images.

Workshop 1: Diagnostic Practice:

Participants were given X-rays and tasked with identifying fractures. With Dr. Kandelaki’s guidance, they gained valuable experience in diagnostic reasoning and clinical decision-making.

Expert Instruction by Dr. Mikheil Loladze:

Accompanied by three of his dedicated residents, Dr. Loladze presented an in-depth talk on fracture types and treatment methods—including casting, splinting, and other stabilization techniques.

Workshop 2: Casting Techniques:Led by our skilled workshop trainers, attendees learned how to apply casts correctly and safely. With volunteers present and supervision by Dr. Mikheil, participants had the opportunity to practice and perfect their techniques.

Case discussion segment & Kahoot Quiz:

The academic team wrapped up the event with an interactive session on bone healing, including real-world case discussions. The experience concluded with a lively Kahoot quiz that reinforced learning in a fun and competitive format.

With practical workshops, expert-led lectures, and refreshing breaks, Fracture Fix delivered an impactful blend of education, engagement, and excitement. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and made the event such a success!
